I have been SO busy in the last week preparing and executing the first 2 of 3 of my African-themed editorial shoots that I haven't even had the time to take in the SS 2010 collections! I've sat and analyzed every single one that sparked any interest so far and am going to share many of them.
I'll also share some behind the scenes insights into last week's shoots. The vibrant colors alone will inspire. Our first shoot infused modern looks with design aesthetics of the major tribes in South Africa including the Ndebele, Zulu, and Shweshwe. The 2nd, shot on location in a lavish Moroccan restaurant, featured traditional Moroccan clothing.
