My Life: Executing the vision behind the scenes
Within the last two weeks I've had the pleasure of styling actress Tatyana Ali and actor Brian White along with his wife, Paula. Both shoots went exactly as planned while also taking on a life of their own (if that makes sense :)
Tatyana Ali is as gorgeous as she's ever been. I styled her in an array (8 to be exact) of dresses showcasing all of her different sides. From short and chic to long and ethereal to playful and funky, each look uniquely complemented Tatyana's amazing personality.
I also styled actor Brian White and his wife, Paula, for a sexy, powerful spread for Obvious Magazine. The duo showcased looks separately and together that said "Make room for the Whites because they're destined to take over". Both were such a pleasure to work with.

LIFE: Fashion editorial shoot behind-the-scenes with Andrew Kuykendall
Here is a behind-the-scenes peek at one of my latest fashion editorial shoots with photographer Andrew Kuykendall. This shoot was young, fun, and spontaneous. With pieces from Chelsea Rebelle, Acne, Julia y Renata, Jerell Scott, Alexander Wang, and many more, the results were perfect.
Andrew and I have produced such great work together. I love everything he does and LOVE the way this story turned out. I will let you know where this one lands!

LIFE: Behind the Scenes: ballet-inspired Editorial shoot

Last week I had the pleasure of styling an ethereal yet playful ballet-inspired editorial spread using Spring/Summer collections from designers including Katy Rodriguez, Isabel Lu, and Rami Kashou.
I had an amazing time working with photographer Tamar Levine and some of LA's greatest make-up, hair, and set designers; an all female team!
Here are some behind the scenes photos. Can't wait to see the finished published product!

LIFE: Editorial in AfroStyle Magazine
AfroStyle Magazine is a publication created by Nigerian-born talent Amaka Nkele. I was drawn to being a part of the magazine due to it's mission and purpose including work with non-profits in the African Continent. Since it's inception, AfroStyle has grown tremendously and draws thousands of followers all over the world. With the AfroModa spread we wanted to share ways to infuse a bit of West African influence into your wardrobe with the use of patterns, colors, and silhouettes.
