The fringe "trend" comes and goes but to me it's not a trend. It's a staple. Moccasins will always be a part of my wardrobe. These are just a few of the fringe pieces I plan to add to my collection very soon.

*** I always like shouting out LA-based labels and Costume dept is one of them. They offer refreshingly simple pieces with creative unexpected touches that I can appreciate. I've pulled pieces from them before for an editorial shoot and each piece really stands on it's own.

DESIGN: FALL (09) INTO CHRISTOPH LAMAIRE

My Good Friend Manuel Paul of Mensrag.com exposed me to Christophe Lemaire. His exact words were "This collection screams Camille A/W 2009". He's right.

The heavy layers, earthy color palette, nomadic references, and oversized silhouettes are exactly what I picture myself in come fall. All of these looks will look just as good with oxfords and heels as they will with flat boots. I'll take one of everything!
